illustrates the progress that we have made to date in our journey to develop Jen's skills in basic kite flying/ handling.
she is now mobile on a three wheeled buggy, we adapted the steering for her hands because she cannot use her legs/ feet. Overall her progress is fantastic and the support she has received from our local kitesurfing community is amazing.
In the next episode you will see Jen ripping up the beach on the land buggy again and also entering the water to progress her skills further in the hope that she will eventually kitesurf when the seasons warm up next year.

Jen has a passion to learn basic kite flying and kite handling. The idea is to experiment with it on land and then progress to water in 2012. It is something she passionately wants to do and we are trying to help her.

In this episode we have explored body dragging. This episode illustrates the progress that we have made to date in our journey to develop Jen's skills in basic kite flying/ handling but we have moved it to the water in a cold November month in Northern Ireland.

She was on a 6m kite today and the wind was SW and then ESE up and down conditions around 15 - 24 mph in a high to low tide. The objective was to come away from the land and instead hit the water with body dragging. The footage is shot and edited to help Jen see for herself what is right or wrong and step up

In the next episode you will see Jen progress her skills further with board starts in the hope that she will eventually kitesurf when the seasons warm up next year or before who knows.

Je ne peux pas m'empêcher de penser à pas mal de bus, gares Rer et stations de métro, à l'absence de rampes inclinées dans la majeure partie des cinés/salles de spectacles, aux portes étroites des logements et wc, et à pas mal d'autres choses...
Ces clips démontrent une nouvelle fois qu'il est possible de très largement limiter les conséquences d'une déficience (cf la définition du handicap) quand on s'en donne les moyens ...
A faire suivre au Ministère concerné..?
