Until now I have never used Instagram, and I think it is better for each person’s mental health to also stay away from it. I think Instagram tends to make people disconnected with their own lives. A distraction, showing only highlights. With algorithms that keep you watching by targeting only the most susceptible parts in you. I think that is just as true for kitesurfing content. Seeing only perfect conditions with the best tricks of people's sessions could make your average session seem a lot less interesting.

Why I did decide to post is because I want to achieve more in my kitesurfing career and Instagram is like LinkedIn within the kitesurfing world and most brands are looking for exposure. Without instagram, it is so much harder to pursue the professional side of kitesurfing.

However, if you were to take away anything from my Instagram page I would want it to be an inspiration to stop using social media platforms and focus on yourself Close the app and do some things that bring joy and peace into your life.
